Privacy Policy

1. Privacy-first architecture

Invoiceur is a local-first application. Invoices, clients, business profiles, payments and other records you create are stored on your device. We do not operate servers that receive or store them.

2. Information the app does not collect

Through Invoiceur, Nerdla does not collect, transmit or store:

• invoice data, client information or financial records;
• payment information (purchases are handled entirely by Apple);
• usage analytics, advertising identifiers or tracking identifiers.

3. Apple Intelligence

On supported devices you can describe an invoice in your own words. Invoiceur uses Apple’s on-device foundation model (the Foundation Models framework) to read that description. The description and the names of your existing clients used to match it are processed on your device by Apple Intelligence; they are not sent to Nerdla or to any other AI service. Apple’s handling of Apple Intelligence is described in Apple’s privacy policy.

4. Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight

If you use Invoiceur with Siri or Shortcuts, Apple processes your request as described in Apple’s privacy policy. To let you find records in Spotlight, Invoiceur adds invoice numbers, client names and invoice statuses (never amounts) to your device’s on-device search index. Removing an invoice or client removes it from the index.

5. Optional iCloud sync

If you turn on iCloud sync, your Invoiceur data is stored in your own private iCloud database, governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Nerdla cannot access it.

6. Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Invoiceur receives only what StoreKit provides to confirm what you’re entitled to; we never see your payment details.

7. Messages you send us

If you email support or send feedback from the app, we receive what you choose to include (your email address, your message, and the app and system versions the app adds to help us). We use it only to respond and to improve Invoiceur, and we don’t sell or share it.

8. This website

invoiceur.app is a static website hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

With your permission only, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which download buttons are used, so we can tell which pages and campaigns work. Until you choose “Allow” in the banner, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. When you allow it, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) and receives page views and button clicks; advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off. Google’s processing is described at policies.google.com/privacy.

Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage. You can change it at any time: choose again.

9. Third-party services you use

You may send or share information exported from Invoiceur (for example a PDF by email). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

10. Security and backups

Because Invoiceur stores information on your devices, you are responsible for securing your devices, backups and exported files. Nerdla is not responsible for loss of data resulting from device failure, operating system issues, accidental deletion or other circumstances beyond our control.

11. Children

Invoiceur is not intended for children under 13.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated.
